Course Renovation Progress Update (September 21st)
Excitement continues to build as the renovation of La Cita Golf & Country Club enters its final stages. We are pleased to share that the project remains on schedule.
The golf course continues to make excellent progress. The front nine greens are now 14 weeks post-sprigging and have developed exceptionally well, while the back nine greens are 11 weeks post-sprigging and continue to mature nicely. Over the coming days, our primary focus is on ensuring that all greens and tee boxes are presented in the best possible condition for opening, with close attention to both appearance and playability.
One of the major milestones in the renovation has now been completed with the cart path work finished throughout the course. In addition, new ball washers, flags, and flagpoles are currently in transit and will be installed upon arrival. The prominent entrance flagpole and flag in front of the Pro Shop are also scheduled for installation next Monday, providing another finishing touch to the property.
T practice cage is now open, featuring new practice mats to enhance the overall practice experience.
The focus remains on ensuring that every detail reflects the quality standards our members expect, with particular attention to course presentation, playability, and the many small details that contribute to a first-class golf experience.

Upcoming Opening Dates
- Member Play Begins: Thursday, October 1
- Official Public Reopening: Tuesday, October 6
These dates will allow members to return to the course while we continue to fine-tune playing conditions ahead of the public reopening.
